Witness to Conscience and Commitment

Greening Friends Center’s buildings is not enough. We wanted our buildings to make a statement that work for peace, justice, and equality in the 21st century requires a new understanding of environmental responsibility.

We set out to make our buildings a showcase where others could come, see how beautiful a green building can be, and learn from our experience.  You are invited to tour Friends Center and to download printed materials, and contact us about our experience.

Tours
We have welcomed groups from local junior high schools, architecture and engineering students, and international leaders in green building.  There is no charge for a tour, but an honorarium is requested.  Tours for individuals are not available.  To schedule a group tour contact Connie Brookes at 215-241-7190 or click here to contact by email.

We are happy to consult with owners and managers of institutional and commercial buildings who are contemplating green technologies.  Contact Patricia McBee, Executive Director.  215-241-7191,  to email, click here.  (We don’t have expertise in greening homes.  Please see the resources for Greening Your Lifestyle for assistance in household greening).
